The Astana rider and Native Texan who looks like he just might have one more good ol’ fashion butt whuppin’ left in him, uses the bar stools at the Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop coffee bar. Bike Furniture Design founder Andy Gregg reuses bike parts as well as glass from trains and seatbelt webbing to build his unique furniture. If it’s good enough for Lance…

B-52 Ejection Chair

The recycle/reuse movement continues to drive innovation in design, and furniture is no exception. One company, MotoArt has been reusing aircraft parts to build some of the most unique furniture in the buisness for over ten years. Thier B-52 Ejection Chair is one of my favorite examples of reuse.

‘Cause things are really blowing-up around here and because some have been requesting it (but mainly because it’s so dang hot in the shop right now) I’m bloggin’.
